Lynn Allen’s AutoCAD 2005 Tips & Tricks Preview – March 2004

My fellow Autodesker and buddy Lynn Allen has provided a sneak peek at her new book to AUGI members.

From AUGI:

An AUGI Exclusive! Lynn Allen, Cadalyst columnist and Autodesk Technical Evangelist, is giving AUGI members an exclusive preview of some of the time-saving features in the new AutoCAD 2005 software. Lynn’s new desktop reference guide “Lynn Allen’s Top 10 Tips for AutoCAD 2005” is not even on press yet, but we got her to share some insights.

Hi I am currently an ed. assistant for a visually impaired high school student. We are stumbling through Autocad 2005 together (new to me too). I was wondering if there is anyway we can use only the keyboard (no mouse) to access all the drawing tools. It would be great if you could help with this or direct me to someone that can.

Hi Shaan,
Please note that the Autodesk eStore link URL is provided as “http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2007/08/www.autodesk.com/estore”. Good that you have given the actual URL in the backets.

Thank you. Just a reminder if you don’t include a full url with the http:// then some web system will interpret this as a relative to your current domain. Doh!
Thank you for mentioning this so I could correct it.
Shaan
