1. It’s even easier to press the print-screen button while pressing the Alt-button.
This method captures only the active window.
2. If you want to remove the toolbars on your printscreen, you can activate the cleanscreen-button or -command in autocad (http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2007/06/autocad-cleansc.html).

ALT +Print Screen is fine but SnagIt is so very much more than just a image capture.
