A coworker of mine emailed me a link from BlackBerryForums.com. At first I was skeptical, as so many said the BlackBerry does not support and could not be configured as a laptop modem. Thanks to the detailed research and documentation of those in the BlackBerryForums.com it actually worked. I was able to get a 115Kbps connection from my laptop to the Internet using my new and awesome BlackBerry 7100t phone through tMobile.

I am such a geek 😉
but I can now get a Internet connection anywhere I can get cell phone coverage which is worldwide and faster than my 30Kbps tMobile GPRS Aircard and wiuthout requiring another tMobile account or card.
