DbView is a tool when loaded into AutoCAD used to look into your DWG file and spot problems with the underlying file database.
Please be careful in using it as it can edit the DWG and also corrupt them if you are not aware of what you are doing. The code for this tool is included in the free ObjectARX SDK from http://www.autodesk.com/objectarx.

Is there a new DBView that works with 2009? This version worked well with Civil 3d 08 but it crashes 2009.

Make sure to send in the CER report when you crash so we can research it. There should be no need for a new version in 2009 but I will look into this and don’t have Civil 3D.

As DbView2007 crashes my Acad2008, I’m trying to find the source code for DbView but I can’t locate it in the 2007 SDK you mentioned.
