In about a week it will be my ninth year anniversary working at Autodesk. Since Autodesk is one of the rare companies and famous for allowing dogs at work, 9 years equals 63 dog years. Of course I was working with Autodesk long before that as a customer using Autodesk products, but January 19th, 1998 is what the HR papers say was my starting date.
Some said I would not last a week…
Cheers,
Shaan
PS: Some on the web reported/rumored the next AutoCAD box would be black, they are not correct. 🙂

Congrats Shaan,
…perhaps you even outlasted a few that said you wouldn’t last !
Daryl,
Thank you. I did in fact outlast most of those that said I would not last and earned the respect or silence of the others. 🙂
Now onto the 10 year mark, one day at a time.
Cheers,
Shaan

TITLE: 15 Years with Autodesk

It was 15 years ago today I climbed out of the mechanical design trenches as a customer and grabbed onto a speeding locomotive named Autodesk and transitioned into a world of software. That’s 105 years in dog years. Time flies when you love what you do…
