Hi Shaan,
Happy birth day late!
It might be irrelevant to your current post but how can I get a “Trial Version” of Inventor, I was a big fan of your Mechanical desktop and when you guys stopped shipping it I had to migrate to one of your competitors now I want to move back to the Inventor and I want to give it a try but seems there is no online page to get a trial version from. you guys in Autodesk should do something for that
It is my first time leaving you a comment, I really enjoy your blogposts. Autodesk has done a great job publishing these amazing blogs. Seems a nice place to work I have to apply for a job there 🙂
Thanks
Sia

Sia,
Thank you for all of your nice comments and support. If you are a student you can get Inventor from http://students.autodesk.com or we do offer 30 day trial CD from http://hub.autodesk.com/index.php/view/p/301.html. There may be other trial offers soon after Inventor 11 is officially released so watch http://www.autodesk.com/inventor.
One alternative is a preview of future Inventor versions from http://myfeedback.autodesk.com/ if you sign up for beta testing.
Cheers,
Shaan

Thanks Shaan, that’s amazing I didn’t know that Autodesk has these wonderful software up on the students server
Thanks again, I actually like this student community, makes me upset that I’m graduating soon 🙂
