All that is required is completing the download form. The file download is a whopping 193MB but to be able to have much of the functionality of AutoCAD for viewing, plotting, and file conversion it takes that much. So for free you get 100% DWG and the AutoCAD core you can rely and trust for those that don’t need a full CAD to view or convert DWG files but want full data and visual fidelity and compatibility.

Without seeing your drawing and plot settings it is difficult to know what could be the problem or what you expected versus what was plotted. TrueView uses the exact same plotting engine as full AutoCAD. Perhaps your scale is set improperly or your plot device is setup in a way that is causing the plot to not look like you expected. I would suggest looking at an online tutorial or a book on plotting with AutoCAD to make sure you have the process down first.

Measure and translate functions should have been included a long time ago. I am glad these have been included with this version.Now I can stop using 3rd party viewers and switch to TrueView again.

I have recently downloaded true view 2009, the distance tool is working fine giving me correct measurements but I can’t seem the plot the correct areas by snapping to corner points!!
Any help would be much appreciated
