What Graphics Card and Driver for AutoCAD has been Tested?
I promised a person attending a recent event where I was speaking that I would blog a new post about the certified hardware pages for AutoCAD. The Graphics Hardware List provides you with the status of certified, supported and non-supported graphics hardware for the new 3D display features in AutoCAD® 2007, AutoCAD 2008, and AutoCAD 2009 based products.
hi, Have you ever heard of a Graphics card crashing AutoCAD or slowing it down? i was at a software demo, the guy said that his CAD might crash when he uses an video projector.. it did crash, but i thought it was an excuse for a poor piece of addon software!!

I and many others have had the same thing due to a hardware conflict of the external projector and my video card even before launching anything other than PowerPoint. Remember the external projector is not really as good as a regular screen and things can happen as well some drivers in dual display mode do not play nicely. I am in constant fear of external projectors I have to use when traveling to a presentation and using what they have there.
Hardware drivers can cause a real mess of pain for a person.
