If you are located in United States and Canada you can currently download AutoCAD 2010 in a fully functioning 30 day trial version.
You can try the new features like the new Free-Form modeling with the new 3D mesh objects, convert mesh to solids, geometric constraints and parametrics, PDF underlay, Dynamic Block enhancements, Hatch enhancements, 3D Printing, performance increases, and more. Get Details on Features
Go ahead and download and give AutoCAD 2010 a spin around the blocks.
Steve,
Great point. The reason is due to bandwidth and abilities to download far away reliably. The current page states all others contact their resellers.
Hopefully there can be something else added for no North America. IN Autodesk Subscription they are now fulfilling many Autodesk 2010 products by download all over the world.
Sincerely,
Shaan

Do you have any idea when a 64 bit trial version will be available?
I found a link after I went to the order DVD page, but it turned out to be 2009.
Why for United States and Canada only???
I am live in Russia!

You can download the current version trial for both 32 and 64 bit versions. Also if you are a student or unemployed you can get most Autodesk products free from the students.autodesk.com or the Autodesk Assistance program.

And the rest of the world??

As always thanks for sharing Shaan, I was wondering how soon before the trial would be available.
I kicked it over at CadKicks to help spread the word.
