In the recent AutoCAD release we have made the default for the Drawing Tools buttons in the status bar display as icons instead of the text.
Are you a visual or semantic person, pictures or text preference? You do have the choice to select your preference.
You have the choice of the new default icons,
Or the text.
All you need to do is simply right-click the Drawing Tools buttons and then select the option to use icons or not.
While I am on the Status Bar topic, another tip. You can also right-click on the blank space on the status bar and get more options for other items to show or not show on the status bar..

There was a book written about the quarter Horse Town Policy and the facts from my grandfather Ivan Ashment. I used to stay in Apple Valley and visit the racetracks Los Alimitos and Del Mar with him some summers. The Town Policy horse theft was a long and twisted tale involving many. I need to get a copy of the Book about Town Policy from my mother.
I did meet Blane S. several times when I was a youngster.

Thank You!!!!! I just upgraded my laptop and re-installed ACAD. I could not figure out how to change the icons to text and was looking around in the AutoDesk help files and couldn’t find anything. Thank you so much!
