AutoCAD 2010 on Mac

I love my Mac machines, and I love my PCs, but I am receiving a ton of emails asking me to confirm some Internet rumors.

While we do recognize the growing influence of the Mac platform and support Apple Boot Camp and Parallels for the Mac with AutoCAD, Autodesk does not comment on rumors and we do not discuss our future plans.

Should there be something official on anything AutoCAD, make sure to check here on this blog.

  1. Actually, items in Preview or Labs are different than possible products that are not on labs or announced. This has been the longstanding company policy.

  2. There’s a huge difference between “discussing future plans.” and/or “possible products” and a product that’s clearly in Beta, that’s being discussed across the mac-forums, web-site and other places, that’s now out in the public domain and being seen by many potential customers. Come on Shaan, you guys are Autodesk, not Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory
