What Design, Visualization, Technology, CAD, and Hardware Blogs do you read, and why? Worldwide and all languages. Are they customers or users of the software or technology they write about?
What are your top 10 or 20 that in your opinion are the most influential, cutting edge, and a must read?
Please post your favorites from around the world in the comments to this post. I am always looking to make sure I am following and learning from the best out there as well as engaging them for any Autodesk special opportunities like the AU Bloggers Social and more.
Thank you, Shaan

Hey Shaan,
We just launched a blog dedicated to those in the public sector working within the 2D and 3D digital design, GIS, architecture and engineering disciplines.
acronym online will feature insight and commentary from industry experts on the trends, mandates, and best practices that impact 2D and 3D design in the public sector. Keep an eye out – starting off, we’ll feature some back-content including expert insights from none other than… you!
Visit us at acronymonline.org.

Hi Shaan,
All told I have around 3 dozen CAD blogs that I hit regularly besides here. Between them I can count on learning something new every day.
You already know the best Civil 3D blogger (IMO) – Dana Probert – and that opinion goes clear back to her Civil 3D Rocks blog. Any Civil wannabe should still read her old posts today, dig up her Civil3D.com posts, and then move on to BIM on the Rocks.
Chris Fugitt’s Civil 3D Reminders is another favorite, particularly helpful in releasing your inner coder. Donnie Gladfelter’s The CAD Geek Blog and Robin Capper’s RobiNZ CAD Blog are daily clicks, along with your “arch-enemy”, Steve Johnson at Blog Nauseum.
Hmmm. I can just see Steve in a Monarch costume…
Civil 3D for Beginners (Louisa Holland),Map 3D and Murphs Law (Murph), CAD Panacea (R.K. McSwain)… I even drop in at Lynn Allen’s blog on occasion.

I read Earl Kubaskie’s blog. I especially like it when uses Civil 3D in unintended ways.
