Press Release: Companion Apps Now Available in AutoCAD 2012
“Simply put, AutoCAD companion apps extend the power and flexibility of AutoCAD with the help of numerous plug-ins, from productivity tools to translators, together with other content, such as blocks and learning tools. AutoCAD users will have the ability to discover a range of apps in a single location. Coins Translate, for example, is a free app that enables designers to quickly and easily translate text in a drawing into a variety of languages, using the Google Translate web service.”
Searching Xref returns the results showing many plugins aka apps.

Proof that cool Autodesk news does not wait for anyone, I am writing this blog post by campfire in the SE Utah desert while coyotes howl and something sounds like it is creeping up on me in the bushes. I am down here documenting many more amazing Ancient Puebloan ruins with some archeologist as well other items using the free Autodesk Labs Project Photofly to convert the digital photos to 3D automatically.
And finally the king of all mushrooms I have seen, a monster fungi!
Time to hit the trails again.
Cheers,
Shaan

Your photos are incredible! I love them all.
Thank you very much Dave.
