Hi- I am a student at a design school in Tennessee and can only find the 2011 download for AutoCAD for Mac. I thought this was going to be available this past weekend… When do you think it will be available?

It should be any day as it was just released last week publicly and scheduled to next be posted to the student community.

Is the student version the same as the full version?

I believe there are only 2 differences.
One is the license is time limited to 3 years.
Second is a plot watermark indicating the drawing produced with a student edition.
