Today is the eighth birthday of this blog. It was eight years ago I started blogging as a means to spread knowledge, information, tutorials, promote other resources and bloggers, provide examples of run-on sentences and improper usage of commas as well as share my warped sense of humor.
Last year Bill Adams made a 7th birthday cake so this year I decided to make my computer and the blog into the cake by frosting it and lighting a candle on it.
Since that day and my first blog posting back in 2003, millions of unique readers have visited this blog and content.

About 100,000 readers average a month viewing the blog by browser and about 20,000 daily average subscribers to the RSS feeds.
Top browser is still Internet Explorer, but only in the 30% range now with Firefox neck and neck, The percentage of mobile device views is skyrocketing as is the number of readers using a Mac.
UPDATE
Bill Adams did a cake last year and mentioned in this posts comments that he also did one this year to celebrate this blogs birthday. I only wish I was not 7700 miles away from Bill to thank him in person as well as have some awesome cake.
