From November 17–20, more than 100,000 innovators around the world fired up their laptops to participate in Autodesk’s first digital conference experience: Autodesk University 2020.
Thank you for all your participation in this challenging year. Over 100,000 registered online versus all of us normally being stuck in Las Vegas a week every year dealing with the dry air making chapped lips, hoarse voices, and the never-ending sound of slot machines or the many escalators.
The online Autodesk University 2020 was a great success from my perspective with the great content, scaled to many more to attend, and free. It is amazing all of the world class sessions and training for free. The classes are online now at https://www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/conference/home if you want to still benefit. I really missed the in person conversation bumping into friends and colleges and meeting new friends and I am looking forward to a future in person event when it is safe to do so.
While the event shifted to a digital platform in response to the challenges posed by COVID-19, the virtual experience let attendees explore new ways of imagining, designing, and making while prioritizing the safety of the Autodesk community. This year’s Autodesk University (AU) offered expanded access to its workshops, training sessions, and presentations by making all content free.

The AU5k was simply amazing and fun! Thank you to the hundreds that participated including our Autodesk President and CEO Andrew Anagnost. I hope everyone that participated had fun and felt a connection. I wish we could do a AU5k every month just to walk, run, ride, swim whatever, but posting photos to keep connected and motivating each other.

I’m going to miss seeing the photos from around the world, but looking to see you all in person again.
Always feel free to reach out to me.

Shaan,
Thanks for reminding me. I never followed thru as to why after paying our subscription fee every year for the last three years we should be locked out of these e-learning tools. Our subscription is renewed in April and is current. Why are these tools only available to those who enrolled or renewed since September 2003?
