Violate Large-Scale Tonal Hierarchy

What am I talking about? I am talking about HDR (High Dynamic Range) images as they are absolutly awesome! You are essentially compositing photos at differeing exposures to achieve a range not possible thus violating tonal hierarchy. You can also create/use HDR images from visualization applications such Autodesk’s 3ds Max and Maya products but in this post I am refering to the technique for digital photography.
