Detroit CAD Camp June 17th, 2008 AND I am now a Platform Technology Evangelist

I will be speaking at the Detroit CAD Camp and want to make my offer of breakfast, lunch or a visit at your office with your team. It will definitely be much cooler in temperature than the 108 degrees of Phoenix this last week and I am planning on more new things to discuss and show during lunch to entertain and cause some discussion and hopefully some ooh and ahhhs. If you are an AutoCAD user and interested in a discussion about AutoCAD with your team at your office, at CAD Camp, or perhaps out for a bite to eat, please send me an email.

While in MichiganSnagIt 9 I am planning to meet with my good longtime friends at TechSmith who produce SnagIt and Camtasia (2 tools I could not work without) and just release SnagIt release 9!

I will also have the infamous Matt Murphy Clay Head Sculpture with me for those wanting to see it or get their photo with it.

Hope to see you in Detroit next week or perhaps my other upcoming events:

FYI: My title changed last night to PSEB Technical Evangelist! This means I get to concentrate more on the customers, the products, and solutions in the design world.

    1. I will be a product technical evangelist for the Platform Solutions Group. This means I will continue to work directly with customers to find solutions and interface directly with the development teams. I don’t really work with the marketing or sales like some evangelist positions just pure technology. I will also continue as the MyFeedback Beta manager for the time being. It is pretty exciting.
      Cheers,
      Shaan
