I just noticed the new and updated AU Online is now live and appears to have the Autodesk University 2008 content including the recordings of the keynotes and some classes.
All seems to be functioning <knock on wood> and there is quite a bit of content available after only just a couple days since AU ended. They were much faster than even me getting all my photos downloaded from my camera let alone published online.
Kudos to the AU Team for another great AU and the quick AU2008 content turnaround!
If you get a chance this week, check it out. http://au.autodesk.com

It’s live- a day late, BTW… too bad the Login is messed up. It wants the OLD login name(pre autodesk consolidation), and if I use that, it doesn’t like that, either. The new one Adesk assigned doesn’t work either. It works for all the other sites, though…
I did not notice any problems when I logged in. Maybe we targeted you only, OK maybe not. 🙂
There is a forgot password option as well that I just checked and worked instantly.
As with any large site launch and large content upload give it a day or two to shake out the gremlins.

My login attempts failed, so I requested another password, and got one immediately (nice, but it’s like 22 frickin’ characters). Logged in, tried to change it to something human, hit Submit, and the page just….kinda…sat. No workee.
Problems:
1. Password issue (see above)
2. We need to specify the language (?? it’s a required field ??), but do not get to pick from a list? Would we type Spanish or Espanol?
3. Am I dumb, or is there no link to the Speaker Resource Center?
Overall: Grade C+.
Matt,
Thanks for the feedback and I will make sure the AU team sees it. One thing on the password forgot it was a simple URL to a page to reset my password. I did not have to type 22 characters, luckily.
Shaan
thanks Shaan – I am on it.
Thank you Joseph.
Thanks guys! And as always, it was an awesome AU, Joseph!
I waited til today to try again, since they announced it in an email. Nope- same thing. So I tried the forgot password thing. It came back with that long string. Okay- copy and paste into the registration. KLUNK- invalid. Except that when I try again the OLD password is the string they just sent me. So I put in MY OLD password as the new one and it worked.
Seems to be okay, now…
