It is that time of the year that students and educators are going back to the campus and classrooms for another year of education. Autodesk loves and supports students and provides many free resources for students to use in their studies and off time.
Over 30 of Autodesk’s professional design and visualization software are available for students and educators for a free 3 year license at http://students.autodesk.com. In the Autodesk Student Community there are also great great resources, content and more.

well, there’s no autocad 2012 for mac for students yet. and autocad 2011 for mac works only under snow leopard and certain macs with lion. yeah, great.
AutoCAD 2012 for Mac should be posted any day. It was released last week and I was told then it would be on the student community as early as a week.
I should also mention that while AutoCAD 2011 for the Mac does work on Lion (in my testing)there are some issues and the team is working on releasing a compatibility update.

About your second comment you should also mention that AutoCAD 2011 for Mac doesn’t work on Lion in those Macs with a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and 320M graphic cards like my MacBook Pro 5,5. I used the developer preview of Lion and It worked in Lion DP1 and DP2 (with some really annoying graphic glitches) but it crashed in Lion DP3 and DP4.
And no, the update beta 3 doesn’t do the trick: AutoCAD 2011 kept crashing on me (yes, i read the beta readme file but i tried anyways).
I should also mention that the Lion Developer Preview 1 came out in February.
