An update (service pack) for AutoCAD 2011 for Mac has just been released after a very lengthy beta test cycle. After installing this update AutoCAD 2011 for Mac will support the Apple OS X Lion release as well a address several reported issues.
Download & Info: AutoCAD 2011 for Mac Update 3
Make sure to read the Readme document as there are important details such as update 3 not including the previous updates 1 & 2 so you must first install those updates if you have not already done so.

Autocad 2011 mac crashes by itself in a few minutes after loading all the 3 updates. Before loading the updates there were printing and other issues but at least it did not crash on Mac OS X lion. The error message is “unhanded exception”. Any solution for this problem?
Anup,
I have not heard of this happening. I would suggest uninstalling the updates and installing them one by opne and rebooting just to keep things nice and clean.
Regards,
Shaan
The Read Me says Update 2 is required prior to Update 3, but it does not mention Update 1 being required, so is Update 1 really required or not?
The update 2 readme states you install update 1 first.

Something seems locked or not released on update, perhaps not logged as admin. I would suggest contacting product support or the Autodesk discussion forums for more troubleshooting.
