Today is technically our birthday but we’re celebrating throughout the year. It was on April 26th 1982 when a group of innovative and hardworking entrepreneurs formally incorporated as Autodesk, Inc. Yes Autodesk was a startup company 30 years ago and has grown considerably from a handful of employees meeting in a founders living room to over 7500 employees today spread around the world and over 100 products and millions of customers.
Here’s to the next 30 years!

Congratulations on your 30 year celebration Autodesk employees! I have been an engineer/designer for over 3 years now and absolutely love your product, I have used it for everything from designing fixtures, machine components, jigs, new product design and development, and even on things we use on a day to day basis. I look forward to seeing what you guys do in the future and what improvements are made. You make an excellent product!

Congrats from a relative newbie (1985 was first contact with AutoCAD). My first AutoCAD drawing (well 3 of us sharing THE (only) CAD machine at tech). Sad that only have a print, not the file itself 🙁
