Last weekend my wife and I caught former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde live here in Bend. The last time I saw Zakk on stage was back in the nineties when he was touring with Ozzy, and the guy still shreds like no one else.
Zakk is one of the best rock and metal guitarists out there—technically brilliant and completely unique in style. These days, he’s juggling gigs with Pantera, Black Label Society, and his tribute project Zakk Sabbath, honoring the late and legendary Ozzy Osbourne.
It’s rare to see a musician of that caliber in a small venue. The energy, the crowd, and that wailing wall of sound made for one unforgettable night. Hard to believe 3 guys can make that much music and shake floors.
An opportunity to see a big name and one of the best in guitar talent in a small venue is indeed a treat. Zakk played the following setlist and listed on setlist.fm
