Autodesk founder John Walker published his own GPT last week. This GPT is for learning about the startup History of a Startup and is based on his Autodesk File publication.

This Virtual Autodesk support assistant, offers tips, automation help, and coached training for Autodesk products. It uses content from the web and learnings abstracted from that to offer helpful info to trouble shoot issues or learn new skills for Autodesk products like AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Revit. I also created several other assistants including one for SolidWorks and one to give love advice from a Dung Beetle named Lovebug.

Today, I celebrate and acknowledge the 41st anniversary of Autodesk's founding on January 30, 1982. Over the past 41 years, Autodesk has established itself as a leader in the design and engineering software industry, and has played a significant role in shaping the way professionals in architecture, engineering, construction, and media and entertainment industries work.

On January 19th, 1998 I was a Mechanical Designer in Portland Oregon and just joined Autodesk and moved to the SF Bay area, thinking sure, I could work on the AutoCAD and Beta teams for a couple of years, then move back to the customer side and designing large equipment. Autodesk was such a good fit for my passion for design, customers, colleagues, and technology Autodesk that it is 25 years since joining and I am still excited.
