I am testing the ability to post from my wireless Blackberry phone\email device. I will be using this device and my trusty TabletPC with a GSM data card while travelling over the next month around the US and South America including in the Amazon jungle.

This is a slippery slope Shaan. 🙂 I recently got a Treo 600 running Palm OS with wireless internet capabilities. Now I’m never non-connected. A great way to spend the time stuck in an Airport but gets you in trouble checking your email while waiting for your wife to order her food. Sometimes I seriously think the next step is going to be a brain implant. Ditch the technology when visiting mother nature. Just a thought.. 🙂
Sean,
Your words are so true. Everytime I hear another email come in with the vibrate or alarm, I find myself checking it. This is not all that new though as I am almost always connected. In fact while in Brazil and the heart of the Amazon next month, I will have a rugged model TabletPC and a GSM card which will be able to keep me completly connected while in the jungle. No place on Earth is safe from electronic connections now. I am a pathetic geek and ultimate road warrior.
Cheers,
-Shaan
