We are now over 7000 registrations for attendees to Autodesk University 2008 in Las Vegas Nevada. The Early Bird registration discount ends October 10th.
If history proves a consistent indicator of growth year after year, we will break last years 10,000 attendees. At least this year the Venetian Hotel and Casino is twice as large with the phase 2 new conference space,new tower, oh and the new spa.
I wonder what I can get an attendee to do this year.
At AU 2006 I got an attendee to ride a mechanical bull after I touted/taunted him as the “Famous Seattle Bull Riding Champion”. I ended up with a messed up wrist after I had to ride the same mechanical bull. Three years earlier I got the same person to dance on the table of an Irish Pub. What can I say, he is a great sport. So in addition to all the great classes and labs there is networking and fun.
OK I know the biggest AU question is…”what style and color will Lynn Allen’s hair be”. I am sorry but that is a company secret and won’t be revealed until AU 2008.
